A Beautiful Mess was such an incredible story that I completely devoured. It hooks the reader in right away. I will admit that it took me a while to get used to the writing style. It's written in alternating POV’s and sometimes the switch was a little confusing. But the confusion didn’t last long and did not take away from the story. This book ends in a cliffhanger! So just be warned and have the next book one clicked and ready to go.

So we have Olivia Adler who is living her life without any family or support. Her parents were killed and she was later raised by her Uncle whom she eventually lost also. This has caused Olivia serious attachment issues. Everyone that she has ever loved has been taken from her.

Olivia Adler meets Alexander Burnham one night when she was attacked by a crazy ex-lover. She immediately feels a pull toward him. Alexander is sexy and rich. He owns a security company and is a former Navy SEAL. He literally changes her life and makes her question whether she should allow someone in her life and to love. Alexander and Olivia’s chemistry is amazing. It’s not fake or forced, but something you definitely feel. I loved all of their interactions, the flirting, the text messages and the sexy time is red hot. But Alexander is hiding a secret.  I was yelling at Alexander to just tell Olivia! He wants to protect Olivia and the secret is beginning to unravel around him.  Olivia is falling fast for Alexander, but she’s questioning whether this could be real. She no longer has control which has been her safety net for such a long time.

This story has suspense and mystery which I love! Things are beginning to unravel and we begin to learn the truth about Olivia’s parent’s death and also some secrets surrounding Alexander and his family.
